Job summary

Azalea Health seeks a Revenue Cycle Account Specialist to execute daily revenue cycle tasks for assigned client accounts. You will act as the main client liaison, handling charge entry, claims submissions, payment posting, denial follow-up, and AR resolution while upholding billing guidelines and HIPAA standards.

The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and experience in medical billing practices.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in medical billing/collection practices and customer service.
• Knowledge of Fertility or Rural Health Center billing is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to HIPAA and billing guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between RCM and client and manage assigned accounts to ensure timely revenue cycle tasks.
• Handle charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, denials follow-up and AR resolution.
• Monitor clearinghouse reports, process patient and insurance refunds, and generate patient statements.
• Research and resolve denied/outstanding claims and escalate trends to leadership as needed.
• Follow client-specific workflows and company policies to ensure compliance.
