Job summary

Southern Healthcare Management is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our Corporate Finance team at the Casselberry, Florida corporate office. The role focuses on accurate resident account transactions across skilled nursing facilities, with emphasis on SNF/LTC billing and Medicaid processes.

You will manage aging/billing reports, credentialing timelines, payer portal attestations, and A/R month‑end close while ensuring regulatory compliance and staff training on PointClickCare.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare billing, patient accounts, accounts receivable, or long-term care finance.
• Working knowledge of PointClickCare is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate and analyze aging & billing reports to identify trends, errors and opportunities for improvements.
• Manage & track all Medicaid & Managed Medicaid credentialing timelines, expirations, and renewals.
• Ensure timely updates and attestations in the payer-specific portals.
• Monitor payer policy changes and Florida-specific regulatory updates, implementing improvements.
• Familiar with RFMS Trust accounting – assist in auditing when needed.
• Review and process adjustments for various clearing accounts.
• Performs A/R month end close and financial reporting for all SHCM facilities.
• Provide training, support and guidance to staff regarding PointClickCare financial processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
