Job summary

Valley Behavioral Health seeks a Revenue Cycle Specialist I to manage payments, reconcile accounts, and perform administrative tasks that support accurate financial operations in a nonprofit healthcare setting.

Based in Indianapolis, IN, the role offers an $16.00/hour starting pay, a regular 8:00am–5:00pm schedule, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, health plans, retirement options, and professional development opportunities within a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a billing/collections office is preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance billing terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and posts payments from clients and payers.
• Reconciles daily bank deposits and transports deposits to bank.
• Identifies and posts unposted payments.
• Enters EOBs into the electronic medical record system.
• Performs client account audits for charges, fees, and payments.
• Monitors and responds to Revenue Cycle requests and meets production goals.
