Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to manage statements, insurance forms, and patient bills. You will review reports, correct errors with QA, and forward issues to treating offices for resolution.

Responsibilities include AR review and follow-up, resubmitting claims, posting payments, and maintaining daily AR logs. A high school diploma and knowledge of billing procedures are required. Excellent communication with attorneys, adjusters, and patients is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of insurance billing and collection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Generate statements, insurance forms, and patient bills according to daily schedule.
• Retrieve dictated reports or progress notes.
• Review all reports and forward errors to QA for corrections.
• Forward billing errors to treating offices for review/corrections.
• Finalize and prepare bills for submission (electronic and paper).
• Communicate with office staff to obtain accurate information.
• Other duties as assigned.
