Job Title: Revenue Cycle Specialist (Remote – ***COLORADO RESIDENTS ONLY***)

Location: Centennial, CO (Remote – ***MUSTRESIDE IN COLORADO***)

Industry: Healthcare – Revenue Cycle Management/Dermatology

Pay: $24–$26 per hour (depending on experience)

The role is part of a growing revenue cycle team within a stable, family-oriented healthcare practice.

Job Description:

The Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage full-cycle medical billing responsibilities in a fully electronic environment. This position is ideal for an experienced professional who is detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and capable of independently handling insurance claims and collections with a high level of accountability. Remote work is supported, but applicants must be Colorado residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Submit high volumes of insurance claims with speed and accuracy
  • Conduct detailed follow-up on denied or delayed claims
  • Analyze payer correspondence and initiate timely appeals
  • Manage insurance collections, focusing on resolution rather than volume
  • Post payments accurately and reconcile account closures
  • Maintain trackers for mass appeals and outstanding claims
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and share process improvements
  • Work exclusively in a paperless environment using Apple products and G Suite

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of comprehensive medical billing experience
  • Prior dermatology billing experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with surgical coding, modifiers, and payer rules
  • Proficient with Apple devices, G Suite, and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive mindset
  • Self-starter who can work independently and efficiently
  • Excellent written communication and grammar skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and accountability

Additional Details:

  • Full-time, direct hire opportunity
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexibility possible)
  • Business casual dress code with professional presentation standards
  • All equipment provided (laptop, dual monitors); Apple products preferred
  • Reports to the Interim Director of Revenue Cycle
