Job summary

Harbor Health Services, Inc. in Mattapan, MA is seeking a Revenue Cycle Reconciliation Specialist to join our Patient Accounts Team. This role reconciles payments from the EPIC/OCHIN system to the bank and assists with monthly financial reporting to ensure timeliness.

The candidate should have a High School diploma, 1 year of medical billing experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and EPIC/OCHIN. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a full-time 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of professional work experience with medical billing and payment posting.
• Knowledge of medical and dental claims billing and physician billing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience with EPIC/OCHIN billing application and reporting.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconciles payments from the electronic practice management system to bank reconciliation.
• Maintains and updates the monthly cash summary and assists with revenue recognition.
• Posts self-pay and insurance payments into EPIC EPM as needed.
• Serves as liaison for Accounts Receivable reports from EPIC/OCHIN.
• Supports front desk payment batches and liaises with the collection agency.
• Acts as backup to the Revenue Cycle Reconciliation Team Leader.
