Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Billing Certification preferred – Epic Resolute Professional/Hospital Billing Admin.
• 3 years of experience in registration billing and denial management.
• Experience in training and staff development preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payor reimbursement, eligibility verification, and compliance rules.

Responsibilities

• Resolve registration, coverage, and eligibility issues across Professional and Hospital Billing.
• Post manual adjustments with appropriate adjustment codes.
• Resolve external clearinghouse edits and payor rejections.
• Update Epic patient registration and rebill accounts when appropriate.
• Participate in monthly physician group calls and provide frontline training.
• Perform root-cause analysis to identify improper billing trends and guide workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with departments, vendors, and carriers to resolve registration questions.
