Job summary

Duke University Health System’s Patient Revenue Management Organization seeks a Business Process Consultant to analytically support revenue cycle processes across the system. The BPC will identify opportunities, create data-driven improvements, and validate outcomes with dashboards and ROI analyses.

This role emphasizes collaboration with clinical and operational leaders to enhance efficiency, automate processes, and improve net collection rates, working within Epic and related BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years in Revenue Cycle analytics and BI tools.
• Extensive experience with Epic Revenue Cycle workflows and denials management.
• Experience with claims, net collection rate calculations and payer policy changes.

Responsibilities

• Identify revenue cycle improvement opportunities and develop ROI analyses.
• Lead analytics projects with dashboards to monitor key metrics (Tableau).
• Monitor KPIs and perform root cause analyses to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with leaders to optimize workflows within the Epic system.
