Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of medical billing, revenue cycle, insurance, or healthcare operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicaid, and medical billing processes.
• Excellent Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support billing and coding staff with workflow and operational questions.
• Research payer policies, billing requirements, and reimbursement guidelines.
• Track and follow up on appeals, denials, and outstanding payer issues.
• Run recurring reports and maintain department dashboards and trackers.
• Create and maintain SOPs, training materials, and workflow documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding and training support for new staff.
• Maintain department workflows, project trackers, and follow-up logs.
• Assist with medical record requests, credentialing documentation, and administrative projects.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement solutions.
• Serve as a resource for staff while promoting accountability and consistency.
