Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee billing operations, optimize claim denials and appeals, and ensure accurate patient accounting across the network.

You will lead the Revenue Cycle Department, supervise staff, review hardship applications, train new hires, and drive efficient workflows while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in healthcare billing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field, required.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as medical office software.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement a system to ensure accurate billing information is entered into the billing system.
• Supervise the Revenue Cycle Department in duties such as account management, communications with insurance providers, collections, cash posting, contract analysis, and billing.
• Manage staff performance with regular feedback, performance reviews, and one-on-one meetings.
• Review financial hardship applications.
• Oversee hiring and training of staff.
• Efficiently manage patient complaints in respect of billing and collections.
• Plan and structure department workflow and staffing.
• Correctly coding diagnoses and procedures.
