Responsibilities

• Third party insurance claim billing for dispensing medication and payer-based billing method.
• Transmit or submit claims (paper/electronic) to insurance payors for reimbursement.
• Resolve insurance problems and patient issues from incorrect or changed information.
• Maintain notes detailing actions to resolve billing edits.
• Maintain demographic and insurance data and billing reports per policy.
