Job summary

SimonMed is seeking a Senior Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee accurate posting of patient payments across ERA, EFT, ACH and other channels. You will co-own reconciliation with the Finance team and ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements, and audit standards.

The role leads process improvements, KPI development, and management of offshore partners, aiming to reduce errors, improve cash flow, and enhance refund handling across high-volume healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Ten years of healthcare revenue cycle experience.
• Three+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• Experience managing payment posting, cash application, credit balance and refunds.
• Experience with offshore teams, multi-site operations and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely, accurate posting of insurance and patient payments across multiple channels.
• Co-own reconciliation of postings to deposits and remittance data with Finance.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and payer requirements in reimbursements and refunds.
• Identify and resolve credit balances, overpayments, and misapplied payments.
• Monitor KPIs for productivity, service levels, and quality; oversee QA programs.
• Develop department strategies, workflows, and policies for compliant operations.
• Lead process improvements and automation in ERA/EFT posting and cash visibility.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Billing, Denials, Finance, and offshore teams.
