We're looking for a leader who doesn't just manage the revenue cycle—you understand how each part of the process connects and can bring people, processes, and data together to drive meaningful results.

What You'll Do

As our Revenue Cycle Manager, you'll provide leadership and oversight across the revenue cycle while working closely with clinical, operational, and financial leadership.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Monitor and act on key performance indicators such as clean claim rate, days in A/R, denial rate, net collection rate, write-off rate, and collection performance.
  • Lead denial management efforts, identify root causes, and develop strategies to address aged accounts.
  • Ensure claims are submitted accurately and timely in accordance with payer-specific requirements, modifiers, and guidelines.
  • Partner with Revenue Systems, Practice Management, Finance, and other departments to identify trends and improve workflows.
  • Collaborate with Front Desk and Call Center leadership to improve registration accuracy and prevent front-end issues from becoming billing problems.
  • Develop training and process improvements based on operational trends and performance data.
  • Support audit readiness and maintain strong documentation standards.
  • Recruit, train, coach, develop, and evaluate Revenue Cycle Billing & Operations staff.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and employee development.
  • Ensure revenue cycle operations remain compliant with applicable federal, state, CMS, AHCA, HRSA, and payer requirements.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong revenue cycle knowledge with the ability to lead people, analyze performance, solve problems, and improve processes.

Required
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 7–10 years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle experience.
  • Leadership and team development experience.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare billing, collections, reimbursement, and denial management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with clinical, operational, financial, and executive leadership.
  • Ability to successfully complete required Level 2 background clearance.
Preferred
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with Athena or similar healthcare systems.
