Job summary

Whole Family Health Center in Florida's Treasure Coast is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to lead and strengthen our revenue cycle operations across billing, collections, denial management, and reimbursement. You will partner with clinical, operational, and financial leadership to drive cash flow and performance.

The role requires strong leadership, healthcare billing knowledge, and the ability to analyze performance data to implement process improvements.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle experience.
  • Leadership and team development experience.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare billing, collections, reimbursement, and denial management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with clinical, operational, financial, and executive leadership.
  • Ability to complete Level 2 background clearance.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Admin, or related field.
  • Experience with Athena or similar healthcare systems.
  • FQHC experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Creole.

Responsibilities

  • Lead billing, collections, posting, denial management, and reimbursement.
  • Drive strategies to improve cash flow and reduce denials.
  • Monitor KPI like clean claim rate, days in A/R, denial rate, net collection rate.
  • Lead denial management, identify root causes and address aged accounts.
  • Ensure claims are submitted accurately and timely per payer requirements.
  • Partner with Revenue Systems, Practice Management, Finance, and others to optimize workflows.
  • Collaborate with Front Desk and Call Center leadership to prevent front-end issues.
  • Develop training and process improvements based on data trends.
  • Support audit readiness and maintain documentation standards.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate Revenue Cycle staff.
  • Promote accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and staff development.

Whole Family Health Center (WFHC) is looking for an experiencedRevenue Cycle Manager (RCM) to lead and strengthen our revenue cycle operations.

For more than 25 years, Whole Family Health Center has served Florida's Treasure Coast with an integrated approach to healthcare, providing Adult & Pediatric Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Complete Women's Health, and Pharmacy services.

We're looking for a leader who doesn't just manage the revenue cycle—you understand how each part of the process connects and can bring people, processes, and data together to drive meaningful results.

What You'll Do

As our Revenue Cycle Manager, you'll provide leadership and oversight across the revenue cycle while working closely with clinical, operational, and financial leadership.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead revenue cycle operations, including billing, collections, payment posting, denial management, and reimbursement.
  • Drive strategies to improve cash flow, reduce denials, and strengthen overall revenue cycle performance.
  • Monitor and act on key performance indicators such asclean claim rate, days in A/R, denial rate, net collection rate, write-off rate, and collection performance.
  • Lead denial management efforts, identify root causes, and develop strategies to address aged accounts.
  • Ensure claims are submitted accurately and timely in accordance with payer-specific requirements, modifiers, and guidelines.
  • Partner with Revenue Systems, Practice Management, Finance, and other departments to identify trends and improve workflows.
  • Collaborate with Front Desk and Call Center leadership to improve registration accuracy and prevent front-end issues from becoming billing problems.
  • Develop training and process improvements based on operational trends and performance data.
  • Support audit readiness and maintain strong documentation standards.
  • Recruit, train, coach, develop, and evaluate Revenue Cycle Billing & Operations staff.
  • Promote a culture ofaccountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and employee development.
  • Ensure revenue cycle operations remain compliant with applicable federal, state, CMS, AHCA, HRSA, and payer requirements.
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines strong revenue cycle knowledge with the ability tolead people, analyze performance, solve problems, and improve processes.

Required
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 7–10 years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle experience.
  • Leadership and team development experience.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare billing, collections, reimbursement, and denial management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with clinical, operational, financial, and executive leadership.
  • Ability to successfully complete requiredLevel 2 background clearance.
Preferred
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience withAthena or similar healthcare systems.
