Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, with a strong background in credentialing processes within a healthcare setting.

  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on financial metrics and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the revenue cycle from patient registration through claims processing and collections.

We are a leading private neurology practice in the Phoenix area, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and innovative neurological solutions. Our team is committed to excellence, and we are looking for a skilled Revenue Cycle Manager to join our administrative team.


Position Overview:

The Revenue Cycle Manager will oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle process, ensuring the practice operates efficiently and effectively. This role involves managing billing, collections, coding, compliance, and credentialing to maximize revenue and maintain a high standard of financial integrity.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Revenue Cycle Oversight:

    • Manage the entire revenue cycle process, from patient registration through claims processing and collections.

    • Ensure timely and accurate billing and coding of services rendered.



  • Credentialing Management:

    • Oversee the credentialing process for all providers, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

    • Maintain up-to-date documentation for all provider credentials, licenses, and certifications.

    • Work with insurance companies to ensure timely enrollment and re-credentialing of practitioners.



  • Supervise and mentor billing, coding, and credentialing staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

  • Conduct regular training sessions to keep staff updated on best practices and regulatory changes.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Prepare regular financial reports for practice leadership, highlighting revenue trends, denials, and outstanding accounts.

  • Compliance and Regulations:

    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and payer regulations related to billing and credentialing practices.

    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding changes, payer policies, and regulations affecting revenue cycle management.



  • Address patient inquiries related to billing and payment processes, ensuring positive patient experiences.

  • Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.

  • Denial Management:

    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce claim denials and improve collections.

    • Work closely with payers to resolve billing issues and appeals.
