• Applies DRGs and APCs to secure optimal reimbursement and understand modifiers.
• Identifies appropriate charges on patient bills using medical record documentation.
• Collaborates with clinical departments to educate on charge capture improvements.
• Coordinates communication to resolve charge capture and coding issues across management lines.
• Mentors staff on new concepts and workflow changes.
