Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to perform reporting and analysis of the revenue cycle, assist staff with system issues, and act as liaison to resolve questions related to accounts receivable.

Responsibilities include monitoring, auditing, and training to improve documentation, coding, and billing processes while collaborating with leadership and clinical staff to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in hospital or physician revenue cycle, billing or coding.
• High School/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related field preferred.
• 1 year in Project Management.
• 1 year in a Epic-billing environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze A/R performance and financial reports; present results to leadership.
• Coordinate with Compliance and RCC to manage RAC and payer audits.
• Monitor Revenue Cycle policies; identify gaps and implement improvements.
• Educate departments on billing workflows, coding, and regulations.
• Collaborate with departments on revenue management initiatives.
• Develop and maintain a Quality Audit program and related reporting.
