Job summary

Manhattan Surgical Hospital seeks a seasoned Director of Revenue Cycle & Health Information Management to steer HIM, revenue cycle, patient access, and business office operations. You will work with hospital leaders to drive performance, ensure privacy compliance, and optimize reimbursement processes.

Ideal candidates will have substantial healthcare leadership experience, RHIA/RHIT credentials, and a proven record in process improvement and team development within regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressively responsible healthcare management experience.
• RHIA or RHIT credential required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of health information management, revenue cycle, privacy regulations, and healthcare compliance.
• Demonstrated success in process improvement and team development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop HIM and Revenue Cycle/Business Office teams.
• Oversee health information management, patient access, billing, collections, reimbursement, and revenue cycle performance.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, Medicare, and other regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiencies, and enhance financial outcomes.
• Monitor KPIs and implement data-driven improvement strategies.
• Partner with clinical, operational, and executive leaders to support organizational goals.
