Job summary

Hannibal Regional Healthcare System seeks an Executive Director of Revenue Cycle to provide enterprise-wide leadership and strategic oversight of revenue cycle operations across the hospital and physician practices. The role focuses on optimizing net patient revenue, safeguarding integrity, and ensuring compliant, patient-centered financial processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in healthcare administration or related field.
• Professional certification preferred (HFMA, AAHAM, MGMA, or similar).
• Significant leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Experience leading large teams and driving measurable improvements.
• EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payer contracting, reimbursement, regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing resources including personnel, budgets, systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-wide leadership and strategic oversight for revenue cycle operations.
• Optimize net patient revenue and safeguard revenue integrity.
• Lead end-to-end revenue cycle performance through people, processes, technology, data.
• Oversee Patient Access, Central Scheduling, Authorizations, CDI, Utilization Review, HIM, Coding, Billing, Accounts.
• Collaborate with leaders to manage managed care contracts and reimbursement strategies.
