Job description

These jobs focus on managing the financial aspects of patient care, including billing, insurance claims, payment processing, financial counseling, utilization and revenue cycle analysis.

These roles are responsible for overseeing the entire process of billing, collecting, and reconciling patient accounts. Revenue cycle staff manage claims submission, payment processing, and account resolution to ensure that the university healthcare system captures and maximizes revenue while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Individual contributors provide support to an organization, often in direct service, operational, technical or administrative functions. They spend the majority of their time delivering support services or activities, typically under supervision. Opportunities for progression outside this career stream are limited without additional education or significant training and experience.

Recognized specialists in the job area lead daily operations. They train, delegate, and review the work of lower‑level employees. Problems are typically difficult and non‑routine but not complex, and they influence others outside the job area regarding practices and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: High School or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Physical Demands

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The position is patient‑facing and the employee is seated most of the day.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $17.66 - $35.32 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate’s qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
