The Referrals and Clinical Authorizations Analyst at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute oversees data collection, reporting, and analysis to support the Access Management Department and related clinical and financial units in Boston.

This role focuses on creating dashboards, benchmarking tools, and ad hoc analyses to guide staffing decisions and improve revenue cycle performance while handling sensitive patient information and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of revenue cycle operations and payer requirements.
• Experience with Epic or other hospital information systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good judgment, tact, and sensitivity.
• Analytical, problem-solving and research skills.

Responsabilités

• Field and prioritizes all data, reporting, and analysis requests.
• Manage requests by identifying appropriate systems and steps needed for timely completion.
• Produce and maintain reporting tools (e.g., denial management reports, financial reports, dashboards).
• Facilitate data capture, reporting, analysis, and storage.
• Develop data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and errors in the revenue cycle.
• Facilitate communication and understanding of key performance indicators.
• Design and develop benchmarking dashboards and tools.
• Support leadership decisions through quantitative models and ad hoc reports.
• Create and maintain project management tools for special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
