Job summary

Springfield Clinic is seeking a Revenue Cycle Data Analyst to assist in developing, generating, and analyzing reports to guide decision making and optimize Patient Accounting operations. The role collaborates with BCI to enhance the Revenue Cycle Dashboard and other key reporting needs.

The position reports to the Sr. Dir. Patient Accounting & Internal Audit and involves cross-functional interaction with BCI and Accounting managers to deliver timely insights and support strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum three years healthcare financial analytical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks.
• Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis.
• Conduct studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models.
• Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions to senior management based on sound analysis.
• Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making.
• Compile and analyze financial reports and identify discrepancies that require management attention.
• Coordinate activities of data collection and analysis; interpret and present findings to support Patient Accounting initiatives.
• Develop key performance indicators and reports with Patient Accounting management team.
