Strong attention to detail and knowledge of medical billing processes are essential. Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience and at least 1 year of medical billing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with EMR/Athenahealth is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Submit clean claims or assist with submission.
• Verify payments and appeal denials.
• Review patient statements and manage A/R.
• Respond to patient billing questions.
