Job summary

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a skilled Billing & A/R Specialist to support revenue cycle activities, including claims submission, payment review, and denial follow-up. The ideal candidate will ensure timely payments, verify contractual terms, and appeal when necessary, while maintaining patient communications and accuracy.

Responsibilities include processing clean claims, resolving discrepancies, running A/R reports, and providing administrative support to the billing department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of medical billing experience.

Responsibilities

• Submit clean claims or assist with claim submission as needed.
• Verify contractual payments and investigate payment discrepancies.
• Review, correct, and appeal unpaid or denied claims.
• Run and analyze accounts receivable (A/R) reports.
• Respond to patient billing questions and review statements.
• Maintain a clean, organized billing environment and perform admin duties as assigned.
