Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides specialized feedback and recommendations to relevant senior staff.
• Maintains knowledge of local, national, and federal coding and billing regulations.
• Serves as primary liaison for governmental and commercial payer audits.
• Reviews and analyzes documentation to support acceptable billing and documentation practices.
• Prepares logs and statistical reports of review findings and disseminates information.
• Gives technical and educational assistance to the Revenue Cycle teams.
• Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
