The University of Miami seeks a Revenue Cycle Audit Specialist to conduct reviews of external audits related to billing and coding, supporting the Revenue Cycle and compliance program. This role analyzes, reviews, and responds to audits to mitigate cash and regulatory risk.

The incumbent will maintain knowledge of billing regulations, serve as the liaison for payer audits, and prepare findings and education for Revenue Cycle teams, contributing to a compliant, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides specialized feedback and recommendations to senior staff.
• Maintains knowledge of local, national, and federal coding and billing regulations.
• Serves as primary liaison for governmental and commercial payer audits.
• Reviews and analyzes documentation to support acceptable billing and documentation practices.
