Job summary

The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) seeks a Full-Time Business Systems Analyst, Revenue Integrity to support revenue cycle optimization. The role conducts data analysis, process reviews, and system improvements to enhance billing accuracy, reduce denials, and improve efficiency across charge capture workflows.

You will collaborate with IT and operational teams, implement training, and prepare formal presentations for leadership on KPIs and cost savings across the revenue cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management (billing, coding, or financial analysis).
• Certification in Revenue Integrity required (e.g., CRCR, CHRI, CPC, CPMA).
• Epic Resolute – Certification or Proficiency preferred.
• Understanding of healthcare billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS), charge capture, and reimbursement methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, analyzes and triages application issues and cases; documents ongoing projects.
• Trains internal users and monitors system availability with IT teams.
• Supports system changes, upgrades, and dashboards across revenue cycle platforms.
• Performs root cause analyses and develops action plans with targets and approvals.
• Prepares reports and communicates findings to leadership and stakeholders.
