Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Services specialist to deliver customer facing services at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a rotating Saturday every 3 weeks; on Saturdays you are off the preceding Friday.

The role involves scheduling, registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling, cashiering, release of information and other frontline duties.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle.
• Working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.
• Ability to take initiative and meet objectives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer facing services within Revenue Cycle System Services.
• Handle scheduling, registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling, cashiering, and release of information.
• Provide excellent customer service and meet productivity standards.
