Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst, Expert to support the Charge Management department. The role is full-time, primarily work-from-home with periodic on-site meetings at UPMC facilities across Pennsylvania, New York, and Western Maryland.

You will conduct complex analyses, audit revenue cycle operations, and deliver detailed financial and operational reports to senior leaders. You will lead data extraction/analysis initiatives, develop self-service reporting tools, and mentor other analysts

Qualifications

• Experience in data analytics within healthcare revenue cycle.
• Experience with billing and coding processes.
• Strong ability to produce complex financial/operational reports.

Responsibilities

• Serve as process expert and train other Revenue Cycle Analysts.
• Lead extraction/analysis of complex financial/operational datasets for assigned book of business.
• Develop and publish complex financial/operational reporting metrics with timely delivery.
• Audit revenue cycle operations and assist in resolving related issues.
• Create executive-level presentation materials and collaborate with senior management.
