Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or related revenue cycle functions.
• Experience with healthcare billing, claims processing, and payer requirements preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and billing systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing and collections activities for home care services.
• Review service documentation, authorizations, rates, and data for billing accuracy.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment concerns.
• Communicate with clients, payers, and internal teams to obtain needed information.
• Maintain accurate accounts and billing documentation.
• Analyze payments, identify underpayments, and recover revenue.
• Monitor aging reports to reduce receivables and improve cash flow.
