Mercy, a leading Missouri healthcare provider, is seeking a professional billing systems analyst to support Scheduling, ADT, HIM, and hospital/professional billing configurations.

The role involves analyzing business needs, defining requirements, and configuring Epic Resolute modules. Collaboration with end-users and documentation of processes are essential, with a focus on maintaining Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of relevant technical or business work experience.
• Experience with Epic Resolute Professional Billing or Professional Billing Claims & Remittance Administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and defines business scope and objectives through research and fact-finding.
• Performs functional analysis, requirements definition and module configuration and testing.
• Develops prototypes, data mapping, function mapping and config tables.
• Understands business processes to analyze requirements and design solutions.
• Identifies and resolves gaps in business processes; assists in security setup, user documentation, data interface design and migration.

Primary Function

For Scheduling, ADT, HIM, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing System Role

• Formulates and defines business scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of business and industry requirements
• Performs functional analysis, requirements, definition and application module configuration and testing
• Responsible for conducting prototypes, developing functional specifications, data mapping, function mapping, setting of configuration tables and setting of transaction/control tables
• Has a thorough understanding of the business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and the development of solutions for the business functions
• Responsible for the identification of and resolution of gaps in the business processes. Involved in security/authorization set-up, user documentation, data interface design, data migration and reconciliation
• May be involved in the installation and tuning of modification, as well as archiving data. Generally this position has light programming skills in the appropriate language to develop necessary workarounds
• Provides support to end-users for application configuration and/or in house developed applications.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards

Position Details:

**Preference for those with Epic Resolute Professional Billing or Professional Billing Claims & Remittance Administration Certification**

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: One (1) - Two (2) years of relevant technical or business work experience.

Other Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:

• Knowledge of requirements management, diagramming, use case development.
• Experience in process design, reengineering, and requirements documentation methodologies.
• Advanced computer skills and general understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in business writing.
