Job summary

Tyler Technologies is seeking a temporary Revenue Specialist to join our Corporate Finance team in Plano, TX. You will process billings, generate invoices, and ensure revenue recognition in accordance with contracts and US GAAP.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in accounts receivable billing, strong Excel skills, and experience with accounting software. SOX familiarity is a plus and multitasking in a fast-paced environment is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in accounts receivable billing.
• Experience working with general accounting applications and Excel.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Familiarity with SOX and revenue recognition concepts is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Process billings and generate invoices for Tyler in accordance with contract specifications.
• Set deferred revenue schedules to comply with US GAAP and Tyler policies.
• Resolve billing issues and input projects into the PSA tool.
• Prepare reports and process monthly revenue share and reconciliations.
• Assist Project Managers with Merchant setup and training.
