Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with college level coursework in basic principles of accounting.
• 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping and auditing.
• Demonstrable skill in application of spreadsheet software.
• Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three days as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Generates, audits and inputs daily revenue journal entries for all revenue-producing facilities.
• Research revenue discrepancies using the point of sale system.
• Responsible for completing the daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Responds in a timely manner to staff and bank employees’ phone calls and questions related to revenue and bank deposits.
• Creates accounts in the accounting software for new vendors.
• Reviews vendors’ W-9 forms for accuracy and completion; maintains W-9 files.
• Imports revenue data into an Access database and generates reports daily.
• Cross trains and assists in other areas of the finance team.
• Exhibits regular and punctual attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.
