Great Parks of Hamilton County in Cincinnati is seeking an Accounting Clerk focused on revenue-related tasks. You will export daily revenue data from the POS, post daily revenue journal entries, and perform bank reconciliations.

You may also create vendor accounts and review W-9s for accuracy, with reporting in an Access database. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to multi-task, communicating effectively with staff and guests while supporting the finance team and staying

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with college level coursework in basic accounting principles.
• 5 years of bookkeeping and auditing experience.
• Demonstrable skill in application of spreadsheet software.
• Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within 3 days of appointment per immigration rules.

Responsibilities

• Generates, audits and inputs daily revenue journal entries for revenue-producing facilities.
• Research revenue discrepancies using the point of sale system.
• Complete daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Respond to staff and bank inquiries regarding revenue and deposits.
• Create accounts in the accounting software for new vendors.
• Review vendor W-9 forms for accuracy and maintain files.
• Import revenue data into an Access database and generate daily reports.
• Cross-train and assist in other finance team areas.
• Exhibits regular and punctual attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.
