Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Revenue Auditor to join our Nevada team. The role involves daily auditing, revenue processing, and ensuring accuracy across properties, with strong emphasis on compliance and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1 year of revenue audit experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a 4-year degree preference. On-site position with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred.
  • Six months to 1-year minimum experience in revenue audit or similar accounting functions.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word).

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to deadlines.
  • Complete daily auditing, processing and recording of revenue and expenses and ensure that all work is completed on time for multiple properties.
  • Monitor compliance of revenue activities on the property via the exception process to ensure that all relative documentation is completed in compliance with all applicable policies and laws, including MICS and SOX.
  • Ensure procedural policies for audits, research variances, make corrections or revisions as needed, and cooperate with internal and external auditors as needed.
  • Complete journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and produce various revenue reports and statistical analysis.
  • Complete financial spreadsheets and updates information on a regular basis.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

LANGUAGE SKILLS

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations. Gaming License is required.
