Derby City Gaming & Hotel is seeking a Lead Revenue Auditor to oversee daily, weekly, and monthly revenue audits and to lead the Revenue Audit Team at Derby City Downtown and the Derby City Gaming Hotel. The role includes training the team and ensuring accuracy across all audit processes.

The position emphasizes strong leadership, precise accounting, and compliance with gaming regulations to maintain accurate financial records and reports.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in an audit, accounting or analytical position is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Valid Racing License is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Revenue Audit operations and train the audit team.
• Prepare daily audits and distribute daily operating reports.
• Audit control documents and prepare exception reports for errors.
• Review and report taxable earnings information and ensure proper transaction authorization.
• Prepare journal entries daily to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly inventories.
