Job summary

Baseten is seeking a Revenue Analyst to scale the data foundation behind revenue and usage reporting. You will connect contract terms, pricing, CPQ data, product usage, metering, billing, and invoices into a trusted view of customer revenue.

Working with Finance Systems, you’ll translate pricing and contract structures into durable data models and dashboards, enabling Finance and Revenue Operations to monitor bookings, ARR, and expansion with reliable data as systems evolve.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics engineering, data analytics, or revenue analytics at a high-growth B2B company.
• Strong SQL and dbt production-grade models, tests, and documentation in a cloud data warehouse.
• Hands-on experience with usage-based billing or metering platforms (e.g., Orb) and payment platforms (e.g., Stripe).
• Experience modeling usage-based terms: minimum commitments, prepaid credits, tiered/volume pricing, changes.
• Experience with Salesforce/CPQ data including products, price books, quotes, orders, amendments, renewals.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-grade dbt models and dashboards linking Salesforce, CPQ, contracts, usage data.
• Create canonical marts for customers, products, contract terms, subscriptions, credits, invoices.
• Reconcile metered usage to billed revenue and investigate gaps before impacting reporting.
• Define and govern metrics for bookings, contracted commitments, ARR, NDR, and expansion.
• Support monthly close, revenue forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Document metric logic, source ownership, lineage, and tests to ensure data reliability.
