Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Revenue Associate in Lake Forest, CA to support the review, validation, and administration of revenue contracts for U.S. and Canadian entities.

Reporting to the Senior Revenue Manager, you will assist with contract reviews, revenue schedules, and supporting documentation to ensure accurate financial reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail and an understanding of revenue accounting principles, with collaboration across Sales Operations, Order Entry, Finance

Qualifications

• Role requires strong attention to detail and understanding of revenue accounting principles.
• Experience reviewing contracts and supporting revenue-related documentation is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with Sales Operations, Order Entry, Finance Operations, and Shared Service teams.

Responsibilities

• Review customer contracts and supporting documentation to ensure accurate revenue setup and recognition.
• Perform revenue transaction reviews and validate revenue schedules for accuracy and completeness.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end revenue close activities.
• Review orders, bookings, and contract modifications for completeness and compliance with revenue guidelines.
• Validate revenue data and investigate discrepancies between source systems and financial reports.
• Prepare revenue-related reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for management review.
• Maintain contract files and revenue accounting documentation per record retention requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of audit requests and provide supporting documentation for audits.
• Support process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements.
• Ensure timely completion of activities per policies and SLAs.
• Keep up to date with revenue processes and accounting policy changes.
