Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Accounting Manager, Revenue, to build the revenue accounting function from the ground up in Palo Alto. You will calculate, analyze, and report revenue for the SpaceXAI platform and services, ensuring ASC 606 compliance and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 6+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, and a strong fluency in revenue systems and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA license preferred or equivalent.
• 6+ years of accounting experience with revenue focus for SaaS/tech.

Responsibilities

• Calculate, analyze, and report revenue for SpaceXAI’s platform and services.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly reporting materials.
• Document new product initiatives to ensure ASC 606 compliance.
• Identify process improvements to automate revenue systems and reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, revenue ops, sales and legal to understand operations.
