Job summary

AppDirect, Inc. is seeking a senior revenue accounting professional to own and optimize revenue recognition across global initiatives. You will drive ASC 606/IFRS 15 compliance, lead month-end close, and partner with Product, Pricing, and Legal to support evolving business models.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in SaaS/subscription or marketplace environments, strong NetSuite ARM proficiency, and excellent cross-functional communication to influence policy and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience in SaaS/subscription/marketplace environments.
• Strong understanding of IFRS 15 / ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
• Proficiency with NetSuite ARM (Advanced Revenue Management).
• Experience with M&A revenue integration or purchase accounting is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Review non-standard contracts to determine revenue recognition per ASC 606 and document conclusions.
• Lead revenue close activities monthly, quarterly, and yearly with accuracy.
• Partner with system teams to optimize NetSuite ARM usage and revenue processes.
• Identify bottlenecks and automate revenue processes for efficiency.
• Collaborate on SSP studies with pricing and product teams.
• Support M&A revenue integration and related audits or transitions.
• Update revenue policies to reflect new products and regulatory guidance.
