  • Investigate material reconciliation discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor cost of services accruals, contract asset schedules, and product-line gross profit margins for accuracy and reasonableness.
  • Partner with key departments across the Company to understand internal processes, resolve accounting issues, and support complete and accurate financial statements.
  • Lead assigned month-end and year-end close activities, coordinate team deliverables, and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Oversee preparation and review of assigned SEC financial reporting disclosure inputs and related supporting schedules.
  • Assign and review work of accounting team members; provide guidance, coaching, and technical support.
  • Coordinate support for internal and external audits and address audit requests related to assigned areas.
  • Lead accounting projects and provide ad hoc reporting and analysis, as needed.
  • Oversee compliance with applicable SOX controls in assigned processes and identify opportunities to strengthen controls.
  • Drive consistent accounting processes across entities and identify opportunities for automation and more efficient workflows.
