Job summary
Housecall Pro is seeking an Associate, Revenue Accounting to support revenue recognition, monthly closes, and reconciliations, helping to keep accurate records. You will work with Finance, Sales, and Operations, analyze transactions, prepare journal entries, and assist with ASC 606 and audit requests.

Qualifications
- 1–2 years accounting/finance experience, preferably with revenue accounting
- CPA is a plus or in process of obtaining CPA
- Familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition principles
- Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closes
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis
- Experience with SaaS revenue models is a plus
- Ability to leverage AI tools to improve workflows
Responsibilities
- Support monthly revenue close with journal entries and reconciliations
- Perform revenue-related reconciliations for GAAP compliance
- Assist revenue recognition per ASC 606 and internal policies
- Analyze revenue transactions and variances to identify discrepancies
- Review billing and payment data for accurate revenue recording
- Maintain documentation for audit readiness
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations to resolve discrepancies
- Assist with external audits by preparing schedules and reconciliations
- Identify opportunities to streamline revenue accounting processes
