Job summary

Housecall Pro is seeking an Associate, Revenue Accounting to help ensure accurate revenue recognition and monthly closes. You will work with the Accounting and Finance teams to support journal entries, reconciliations, and revenue-related reporting.

The role calls for 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience, a solid grasp of GAAP/ASC 606, and proficiency in Excel, with NetSuite/Stripe experience a plus. This position offers remote work options and equity in a growing startup.

Qualifications

1–2 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably revenue accounting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA is a plus or in process
Foundational GAAP understanding with ASC 606 familiarity
Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly close
Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
Experience with NetSuite/Stripe is a plus
Familiarity with SaaS/subscription billing or payment processing a plus
Experience leveraging AI to improve workflows is a plus

Responsibilities

Support monthly revenue close with journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules
Perform revenue-related reconciliations for GAAP compliance
Assist with ASC 606 revenue recognition activities
Analyze revenue transactions and variances to identify discrepancies
Review billing and payment data to ensure accurate revenue recording
Maintain accounting documentation and schedules for audit readiness
Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Operations to resolve revenue issues
Assist with external audits via revenue schedules and docs
Identify opportunities to streamline revenue processes
