Job summary

Limiting Factor Group is seeking a Revenue Accounting Analyst to ensure contracts are billed correctly and revenue is recorded under proper accounting rules. You will review contracts, generate invoices, and maintain revenue schedules.

This full-time, on-site role is based in Menlo Park, CA, with requirements to work extended hours and travel to other LFG locations as needed. CPA or progress toward it is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of accounting experience
• Strong spreadsheet and Microsoft Office skills
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Experience with the billing module of an ERP
• CPA or progress toward it

Job description

LFG designs, builds and manages power infrastructure for compute systems and utility providers. The Revenue Accounting Analyst accounts for customer contracts, billing and revenue. You will make sure each contract is billed correctly and recorded under the right accounting rules.

What you will do

• Review customer contracts and determine the accounting treatment
• Prepare customer invoices, record revenue, deferred revenue and related journal entries
• Reconcile accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments
• Maintain contract records, including rate increases and renewal dates
• Prepare revenue schedules and supporting documents for the audit

Additional Requirements

• Willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
• This position is based in Menlo Park, CA, and requires being onsite full-time - hybrid and remote work will not be considered
• Must be willing to travel to other LFG locations

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range:
$100,000.00 - $140,000.00

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at LFG.
