Job summary

Anschutz Exploration Corporation in Denver seeks an experienced revenue accountant to accurately report volumes, values, deductions, and taxes by product and ensure timely payment of all taxes and royalties. You will interact with operations and land teams, prepare analyses, and respond to inquiries.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and at least 5 years of oil & gas revenue accounting experience, plus strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil and gas revenue accounting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Self-starting, detailed, results oriented team player.
• Strong organizational skills with significant attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience in Quorum software platforms is a plus.

The starting rate for this position is expected to be between $100,000 to $110,000, based on experience, qualifications, and internal pay alignment. Final compensation may vary from this range depending on a variety of factors, including a candidate’s education, skills, prior experience, and evolving market conditions. This range represents Anschutz Exploration's good-faith estimate of the pay for this role at the time of posting.
