  • Reduce reliance on static Excel reports, helping leaders respond faster to changes for accounting, finance, operations, land or subsurface teams.
  • Automate recurring reports that employees may currently build manually every week or month.
  • Standardize metrics across departments, so everyone works from a single version of truth.
  • Ensure data governance and security best practices are followed.
  • Present complex data in a clear, visual way that non-technical users can understand.
  • Break down silos by giving different teams shared access to consistent, interactive dashboards.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and dashboards.
  • Cross-train with lead Spotfire Data Scientist to be back up support as required.
  • Support a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Maintain goals as prescribed by management.
  • Stay current with BI trends and technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
Experience and Education
  • 3–5 years of experience as a BI Developer, Data Analyst, or in a similar role.

  • Oil and gas industry experience preferred.
Skills
  • Strong expertise in Power BI (reporting, DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
  • Experience with ETL processes and integrating data from multiple systems.
  • Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and dashboard usability.
  • Familiarity with Spotfire.
