Job summary

Lakeside Book Company is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate in Indianapolis. The role is full-time, with a 6:30am–2:30pm shift and overtime including Saturdays. Pay is $19.50/hr with full benefits. Location: 5550 W 74th St, Indianapolis, IN 46268.

Responsibilities include processing and labeling returned products, updating inventory systems, and communicating with supervisors to resolve discrepancies while following all safety policies. Prior warehouse and forklift experience is required.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience required.
• Basic computer skills to scan, sort, and process products.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift for an 8–10 hour shift.
• English communication (written and verbal) to collaborate with team.

Responsibilities

• Process, sort, and label returned product per publisher instruction using powered equipment as needed.
• Accurately update inventory systems and record return reasons and/or codes.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding discrepancies.
• Adherence to all safety policies.

Pay: $19.50/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm, with overtime including Saturday (6:00am-4:30pm)

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) to be able to collaborate with team members and follow direction from leadership
