Job summary

Born Primitive is seeking a Returns Associate to join our team. You will help process returns, restore inventory, and ensure customer satisfaction while upholding our standards of service.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, good computer literacy, and a collaborative mindset. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours and occasional weekend support, contributing to a positive, team-driven culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2+ years of related customer contact/service experience preferred.
• Apparel Industry Experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain flexible to constant changes.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with a team.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs quickly.
• Must be willing and able to lift 2–50 lbs.
• Must be available to work a flex schedule Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm; occasional weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Returns team to optimize processes and minimize return-related challenges.
• Serve as a floater between the different tasks associated with the Returns department as needed.
• Be flexible and able to switch gears to meet evolving business needs.
• Maintain a high level of proficiency to ensure effective support.
• Develop brand/product knowledge to enhance customer interactions.

The Returns Associate will serve as a versatile team member by assisting the returns and exchanges team as they process returns and aim to return apparel to inventory.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)


• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience (Preferred)


• 2+ years of related customer contact/ service industry experience preferred.


• Apparel Industry Experience (Preferred)
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain flexible to constant changes


• Good communication skills and ability to work with a team


• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs quickly


• Create and maintain a quality, professional work environment. Maintain a positive relationship with all co-workers and colleagues


• Must be available to work flex schedule of Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day between 7:00am and 5:00pm. Occasional weekends and holidays.


• Must be willing and able to lift packages anywhere from 2-50lbs.

Compensation Information: Born Primitive is committed to pay transparency. The compensation for this position is $20.00/hour. This is a full-time hourly position. This position may also be eligible for additional benefits and incentive compensation, where applicable.

Salary Information

$20 - $20Hourly Wage
