Job summary

Valdese Weavers LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Returns Specialist to reconcile and dispose of returned fabrics. You will regrade and post-inspect materials when needed, maintain detailed disposition records, and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure accurate stock management across the value chain.

The role emphasizes adherence to ISO 9001 standards, precise data handling, and safe, organized operations within a textile mill environment in Valdese, NC.

Qualifications

• Previous experience handling returns or returns processing preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 work instructions and standards.
• Strong data entry and spreadsheet maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Process all returns and determine disposition (seconds, unassigned stock, stock back to customer, or imports).
• Re-evaluate returns for yards returned and validity of reason for return.
• Maintain spreadsheets with disposition information and report findings to Post-Inspection Manager.
• Assist in regrading and post-inspection as needed; lead regrader when required.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to secure new sales orders for stock-back returns.
• Ensure 5S and safety guidelines throughout the process.
