Job summary

Valdese Weavers is seeking an inspector to visually check fabric during weaving on looms and report defects to the weaving team. You will stop machines when issues arise and ensure quality control on inspection frames as needed.

Responsibilities include reporting quality issues, maintaining safety, and participating in overtime and attendance bonuses as part of the shift. This role emphasizes communication and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills as required by the position.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect fabric as it is woven on looms.
• Stop a loom when a defect is found and communicate with Weaver, Loom Technician and Supervisor.
• 100% inspect on inspection frame as needed; report defects and ensure quality.
